Position Summary:
The Veterinary Technician assists in delivering exceptional medical care and patient support. This role advocates for pets, collaborates with clients and veterinarians, and supports the practice manager and team in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anesthesia & Surgery: Prepare patients, monitor anesthesia, record vitals, assist with premedication, induction, intubation, fluid therapy, and dental procedures.

  • Patient Care: Restrain animals, record vitals, provide treatments, perform x-rays and lab work, fill medications, and help maintain a clean, organized hospital.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stock of medical, pharmacy, office, and cleaning supplies; track expiration dates and restock as needed.

  • Medical Records: Document patient history, exams, treatments, medications, and care instructions in SOAP format using veterinary software like Ezyvet and VetRadar.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years as a veterinary technician (required)

  • Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician preferred (mentoring available)

  • Experience with Ezyvet and VetRadar preferred

  • Must be at least 18 with reliable transportation

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks associated with patient care

  • Full-time | Pay: $20–$25/hour

  • Flexible weekday schedule; Saturdays 8 a.m.–12 p.m. as needed
